Get Over It – Whales and Santa Hats
Call me insensitive but this will be my “You really have to get over it” moment for the day. It appears that animal activist are all in a tizzy because a Japanese aquarium (an aquarium in Japan for the lay person) is putting Santa hats on White Whales.
“It’s a scene that brings laughter and cheers from visitors to a Japanese aquarium – two white beluga whales wearing Santa hats…. There’s even a chance to receive a wet kiss under the mistletoe from a yuletide beluga.” ~from the article
I mean shouldn’t the promise of a kiss from a whale (I wonder if they use tongue?) be enough to make even the most starch Animal rights activist happy? But no!
Now on a side not I wonder if the Activist, shoppers, and whales prefer to say Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays?…hmm… food for thought.
Here be ye a jolly link to the full article: link

I love Beluga whales…I think they are the most beautiful animals, seeing them with the santa hats makes them even cuter!! Its not hurting them at all and its all in good fun these Activists really need to relax theres nothing wrong with it and they need to find something better to do with there lives!!! I am an animal lover not an Activist there is a huge difference!! I have never caused harm to any human for wearing fur……..LOL whos the real animals????? Merry Christmas all!!!!!

You, sir, are insensitive!
The Lord did not create whales to don our silly head wear. He created them to do whatever it is that they naturally do in the ocean and SeaWorld.
By the way, I have a great picture of a dog in a Santa hat humping a cat in a Santa hat.
