Well the poll seems to be going well (vote if you have not yet…I have other plans for that…maybe). Looks like Inigo is way ahead, but I plan to leave it open for a few weeks and see what happens. However, I have been getting a lot of questions about where I got my “Hello, my name is Inigo…” T-shirt. Email’s like this touch my heart:
“Dear Aaron ,
You are awesome and I love your Inigo Montoya name tag shirt. Even though I know I will never look as good as you in one…where did you buy it?
Sincerely,
Some Guy without an awesome shirt.”
ok. well I might have made that one up but you get the point. Either way I got said shirt at LuckyThreadz.comLoiter Apparel. Check out their site and get you a shirt. Just don’t wear yours on the same day as me. Thanks!

Well, If you set up late into the night to watch the Auburn vs. LSU game you were not disappointed. I am a huge Auburn and all I can say is that if you have to lose…it might as well be off of a play like that. Very spectacular catch at the last second. Amazing. Hopefully there is still hope for the Auburn season. Overall , they didn’t play bad last night but who wouldn’t be upset about losing a game.
Next week will hopefully be better for us as Auburn faces Mississippi at home.

Anyone working in tech support has had those moment. You know the one’s where your standing (or sitting there) not really knowing how to explain that an issue is fixed…or for that matter at times why it is fixed in the first place. What do you say? What do you do? Will They understand? Will they even believe it? My suggestion, just have fun with it. Fine…But what should I say?
Well worry no more. Just put that person on hold (where you cleverly have Chocolate Rain as your on hold music…which consequently may get you off the hook of giving a reason in the first place) and grab one of these incredibly thoughtful technical excuses. Like they will ever know…
and if those aren’t good enough try Jaco Strauss’ Tech Support Excuse Generator, where you will find great random technical excuses such as: Partial, unvalidated retrieval lockout… or just laugh profusely and walk away. Overall…just be good to the people you support. No matter how hard that may be at times…they are the reason you have a job. =P
Enjoy
…btw…Like these or have some to add? Comments are there for that!

As October 1st, all restaurants in Tennessee will be smoke free indoors unless they limit access to people 21+ at all times (includes restaurants with bars, chain and hotel restaurants). See www.smokefreetn.org or www.tennesseeanytime.org/govoffice/smokingban.html for more information.
Let me begin by saying I am not a smoker. Personally, I think smoking is the equivalent of putting your mouth over the exhaust pipe of a poorly tuned ’68 Chevy. So on one hand I think this is great. There is nothing I hate more then when someone lights up right next to me in a restaurant. This is why my wife and I usually avoid restaurants that allow smoking or have the most ill thought out smoking sections known to man.
On the other hand, I hate the fact that the government felt they had to step up and do it. I despise the way government takes control of everything..all the useless organizations, things they have their hands in, the ways they can try to scare people by saying the budget will be cut and health and education will suffer (even though it would have actually just been a smaller increase from last year than they wanted). But I digress. I think it should have been left up to the business owners to decide. Now I think the owners should have thought…Hey, you know smoking kills people and is annoying to our customers..perhaps we should ban it. But they didn’t. I jump off my political rant and just start to enjoy the clean air here.
Cheers.

As a drummer, I am constantly looking for new things to practice and a great tool for that is youtube.
This week I was looking around and found this video of Neil Peart playing at the Buddy Rich memorial concert in 2006 (yes, I know it’s 2007 now. how am I just now finding this?) I love the way he throws in bits of Rush into the solo with the big band and swing style. Anyways, check out the Professor in action. Good stuff. Enjoy.

Congrats to my team the Auburn Tiger on their win against #4 Florida. Get the ESPN game recap here. It really was a great ball game. I was glad that Auburn seems to be pulling things together this season. I do love it when we beat the Gators though. And you gotta love the SEC. Best college football there is.

As I was driving home yesterday I see this Dodge Dakota (as you will see below). Thhis got me thinking about how many Star Wars themed vehicles there are out there. The answer? I have no earthly (or tatooine-”ly”) idea. However, here are a few that I found very cool. Thanks to roadsquadron.com for a few of these. Definitely check them out for quite a few more. Enough said..here ya go…

Cheers.
